I'm sooo tired. My feet hurt like a mofo! I think I'm getting the hang of the hostess thing. I feel kind of robot-like though. Not in the way I walk (although that would be funny) just in what I say to everyone.
"Hi! How many? Smoking or non? Right this way. And how are ya'll today? Great. (give them menus) Here ya go-your waitress will be with you shortly" (big cheesey smile)
Same thing over and over all day. I'm thinking it would be fun to like, talk a different way each day...like some accents or maybe some speech impairments... haha...ah the possibilities!
mmm...I'm eating some cheesecake that mysteriously appeared in the fridge. It has some kind of weird pumpkin swirls in it though...neeto-I love me some cheesecake.
I went to Amanda's house yesterday and watched the X-men movie. Wolverine is pretty sexy! I think its the hair. After that we went with her cousin Angelite to eat some pizza and to go look for a retainer for my lip piercing for when I take it out at work. So far I've been just leaving it out with nothing in the hole so It closes up a little. When I put the ring back in, it has to bust through the skin...needless to say-it HURTS.
Haha...the other day me and Manda were in my car and we were listening to KTRU. It was some good listenin' as usual and then this song came on..actually it wasn't even a song...It was a woman saying things about how root beer is dangerous to babies. It wasn't like a public service announcment or anything...It was just this woman saying "Root beer makes a baby's head smaller...root beer causes permanent damage to a baby's brain..root beer is a bad for the baby in the mother's womb"..and so on and so on...she musta said "root beer" about 30 times. And she had this weirdo hick voice!...and she jus sounded...I dunno...slow or something. Me and Manda just kept looking at each other and laughing....we were all like "what the hell???" Anyway...we now have a new little thing-we-say thanks to that..."Root beer makes a baby's head smaller!"...*sigh*...I wish I could only make you see how funnily we say it though...sooo hickish...with a big emphasis on "root" and "head". Hahahaha!!...hehe... um..anyway..
I'm happy cuz next to the cheesecake I found some flat sprite. Sometimes I shake up bottled soft drinks and let out the fizz on purpose...mmm...so good when they're flat.
My wetback uncle is watching these retarded cross-dressers on some spanish channel. Gawd...what is it with spanish programming?? My parents used to always watch this show that's a lot like America's Funnniest Videos but it's called Sopa de Videos (Video Soup) and its just as corny, only the videos are like 50 times less funny-bringing it down to like, negative funniness. It's really quite sad. I'll tell you what's funny though-"La India Maria" movies...theyre about this Mexican woman who crossed the border and her hilarious antics as she tries to adjust to the U.S. She always wants to ask for a cheeseburger when she eats out but always chickens out and goes with the only thing she knows how to say-"coffee and donuts". Hehe..that crazy Maria...she'll never learn!
